Dalaras' discography consists of 85 independent albums that have sold close to 20 million copies, which is still an unsurpassed circulation in Greece. During four decades on the stage, Giorgos Dalaras performed at thousands of concerts, two of which were held in 1983 at the Olympic Stadium in Athens with over 160,000 visitors, which were also written about by the prestigious music magazine "Rolling Stone". Bregović's "Moonlight" in the Greek way!
Jorgos Dalaras has been a great friend of Goran Bregović since 1999. Then they recorded an album together and held a concert on Aristotle Square in Thessaloniki as a sign of support for the people of Serbia and Montenegro during the bombing.
